Any miracle wrinkle creams out there?

Anonymous
I've got deep wrinkles on my forehead (age 37) and dont want to do botox due to the medical risks...Anyone have any suggestions for miracle wrinkle creams out there or am I dreaming?

I saw some add for Loreal deep wrinkle something, but I'm skeptical.

Trying so hard to embrace the European women's grace and acceptance of maturity, but in the dead of winter with sleep deprivation and dehydration, the wrinkles are the first thing I see sometimes and even my most evolved self perception is challenged!!!

Retin-A is the only product proven to reduce and prevent wrinkles.

There is also something called Prevage which is supposed to do the same thing, only better. It's prescription only. I couldn't use it long term because it made me turn red and peel (had the same problem with Retin-A and most acne prevention stuff). Prevage is Pregnancy Category X in case that is useful info for you, although I got pregnant while using it and my genetics counselor said she would be concerned only if I had been bathing in it for a week straight. I was using it maybe 1x a month because of the peeling and stopped imemdiately upon learning I was pregnant (unplanned pregnancy).

It's not the same thing, despite the name. This is the prescription stuff:

I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. Def. a good moisturizer, so it is minimizing the *appearance* of lines. I guess I wouldn't have much confidence in its ability to prevent or resolve wrinkles without a serious acid, but it feels nice. I'm 35, btw, and switched from a Neutrogena retinol deal that just wasn't moisturizing enough this winter. For OP, the Olay is doing a better job on the crows feet and frown lines than the forehead.

I use Arbonne Nutramin C and it is great.

2nd this, although I would add other prescription-strength retinoids to this.

And you MUST wear sunscreen. Year round.

Sunscreen and water are the only true miracles, sorry to say.

Retin-A does help, but man, it's a life changer. The warning label is frightening. But then again, I looked pretty great and non-wrinkly when I used it!

I know not what the PP means by life-changer. Almost every drug -- even supplement -- I touch, has a zillion warnings about it. Most of which -- GAH.

Retin-A means more sunscreen. Aside from that, I don't see why everyone doesn't have a tube. Have your doctor say it is medically necessary and get your insurance to pay for it. It is 5x better than any of those fancy creams that come in a cute package and that you'll pay 100 or more for.

Retin A micro is great! Less irritating than the original Retin A, yet it has the same benefits. Highly recommend it.

I am going to be 44 this year. I have no lines and wrinkles. I have used Renova for 15 years. I use olay products during the day. The Renova costs me $160 and lasts 7 months. It is worth every penny. I am constantly getting compliments on my skin.
