IUI with Clomid, what days you started taking meds?

My nurse acts so slow just annoys me sometimes, My period should be coming today or tomorrow (usually clock wise) I already feel the cramps so even can happen any hour and she still didn't send my meds to pharmacy despite me talking to her 5 days ago. I always had natural cycle and this time we agreed to meds. what makes me nervous I have no idea what day I should come, how much the dosage will be and I don't even have meds bought nor sent to pharmacy. Am I in trouble ?

Per your protocol what days did you take Clomid? and am I in trouble for not having meds still? I really hope that meds would not be needed till cycle day 3 or 4. I hate that my period always falls on weekend, makes it harder to reach anyone in the clinic. trying to stay positive after failed cycle.

Usually people take clomid days 3-7 or 5-9.

Thank you for reply and yes, my Per-d came another prove cycle failed.

So I guess Monday will be day 4 for me... does it mean I will take day 5-9 Clomid?

Is your clinic open tomorrow? I'd call tomorrow morning and check with the nurse. It's probably fine to start day 5, but there's usually a reason doctors start on day 3 or day 5.

Also what time did you get your period? I think my doctor said first day of real flow before 5pm counts as day 1.

I use GWU MFA. I never called clinic on weekends never was a need so I have no idea. I will try but my assumption is there is somebody only if needed??

But that's just it it makes me nervous if she haven't even talk to doctor... This is so annoying...

Call in the morning. Many fertility clinics have someone on staff daily because timing is so essential.

Re: Mine usually heavy flow the first day so it just started so my heavy flow will start somewhere in the mid of night and will be tomorrow probable or half a day tomorrow, then it gets lighter... I guess I will try to call them tomorrow. It just makes me stress when I am not prepared in advance I like to plan ahead ( almost like OCD) that's why this process a bit stressful for me never know what I have to do till last moment.

Infertility and Parenthood teach us that things just aren't in our control and it is definitely...frustrating.

Do call your clinic tomorrow morning. And perhaps look for an opportunity to request switching your nurse, if you feel she is not responsive.

I had a flaky nurse at SGFC. While I didn't switch, I always called in and confirmed my protocol with whoever was available, rather than waiting several days for my nurse to respond.

I noticed that there are different combinations. But I do not know what determines which day to start the meds. Sorry and good luck!
