Any good home daycare centers near Grosvenor metro area, MD ?

Anonymous
I am looking for a home day center for my 8 month old infant starting this fall. Any suggestions?

Wish I could recommend mine, which used to be good, but it's going through a slump right now. We're giving it another month or two but if things don't improve, we'll be looking as well.

I have been trying to find one for 2+ years. No luck. If anyone is in the market to open a daycare, this is the place.

I drive by one on the way to The Grosvenor metro. It may be out of the way depending on where you live. Lily pads on old Georgetown. It looks like it operates out of a home.

Bright Eyes at Timberlawn is off of Tuckerman near Rockville Pike - large one room center, seem to have nice caregivers but it can be noisy

Maureen Donelan in the townhomes behind the metro - kids play in a basement and sit around the kitchen table watching baby einstein videos

Monday Morning moms does not have any home daycares on their list for this area - Twinbrook is closest area with options

Thank you for the suggestions, anything close to twin brook station? Looks like Bright eyes is currently not accepting any infants.

I'm also in the same position. Looking to start mid-August for my daughter who will be 14 months. Seems like there is definitely a need in this area.

Did you go on the web site for a listing of licensed providers? I thought there were a couple in the Wildwood area:
