I am having the worst time trying to find narrow shoes for our 4 year old this year. Our old standby--Naturino canvas mary janes and t-straps-- seems to be much wider in the "little girls" sizes (27 and above). Does anyone have any suggestions for cute girls shoes that work for narrow feet?
Thanks! |
| Nike shoes seem to run more narrow. We still have some Primigis but they aren't as narrow as we probably need. Stride rite styles really vary by style..some being wide and some narrow. I've heard Shoe Train in Cabin John is great for hard to fit feet/shoes. |
| My girls have narrow feet, and almost all their shoes have been from Stride Rite (with a couple pairs from Naturino). But not all styles fit. I've found the staff at Ramer's and Shoe Train to be helpful in tracking down the right ones. |

Shoe Train has been off many times with my dd, who has narrow feet. The tendency is to get shoes that are long enough by measurement, but the child floats in them for some reason.
This is what I do: I go to Zappos and spend quite a bit on Asters (not the classic t-strap, which seem wide). I go with the Mary Jane's or the Vingo t-strap. They fit perfectly. The sizing is European, and I have ordered some too big, but I just save them. I fit the shoes EXACTLY to her foot size. Therefore, we are buying shoes every 6 months, but at least they fit. I go up one Euro size at a time. Yes, Asters are pricey. The next best thing seems to be Stride Rite, narrows. I did that for a long time, but switched to Asters when I wanted something cuter. Geox is also narrow. |

| Thanks so much everyone. 17:26, are Asters wearable without socks? |
| Yes, you can wear them without socks, they also have sandals, which are quite pricey. |
