Good, bad? Overpriced? |
Overpriced. |
Sometimes they have unique things though - vintage - that make it really hard to determine a "fair market" price. |
They often have nice things, but pricing is not great. Definitely check elsewhere before purchasing.
Customer service is pretty good. I once ordered a "no returns" item that turned out to be very poor quality (when compared to the picture posted on teh site). They refunded my money without any issues. |
Overpriced, definitely |
It just depends on the item. I've been ordering from them for about 5/6 years and have had almost all good experiences. A pillow I bought a few months ago for DC's room frayed almost immediately, and some furniture I bought has definitely not held up as I would have hoped.
Like a PP said, it's worth checking just for the unique/vintage pieces. I also like it for framed art and accents. |
I've had good experiences. They may be overpriced, I couldn't tell you. I've also had decent experiences with Dot and Bo and Joss and Main,. |
Overpriced but the customer service is great. Careful packaging is a plus. When ordered items became unavailable, they were quick to offer store credits. |
Overpriced. You can find almost everything they offer elsewhere online for the same price (but with free shipping) or cheaper. |
The small things are overpriced, but you can find some deals on their furniture. I got a sideboard from them for less than half of the original price (discovered by googling). The customer service is very good, the piece arrived in perfect shape and the delivery guys were great. |
I saw the EXACT SAME piece of furniture on One Kings Lane and Joss and Main, within the same month, and it was hundreds of dollars cheaper on Joss and Main. I think it was something like $650 on OKL and maybe $425 on J&M. Same photo, same color, same everything. They are both owned by the same company that owns Wayfair so I knew their style overlapped but I thought OKL was supposed to be somewhat higher end. Now I'm skeptical that I'm ever getting a deal on anything.
That said, I do tend to really like the style of a lot of their things, and I don't have time to shop in real life. I just wish they would give more specific information about each piece, and more photos. I can't spend more than $100 or so on something I can't be totally sure about and would cost an arm and a leg to ship back (e.g. large rug or dresser). |
I've seen many of the same items for sale at Home Goods for less. |
