Views on the above three for preschool? New to the area. Thank you

We looked at Harbor and St. Francis. Both have poor physical plants (small playgrounds and limited space). St. Francis staff seemed more in tune with academics. But St. Francis reduced its size recently and I'm not sure why. One school in Potomac that impressed me was Fourth Presbyterian on Glen Road. I'm not considering it because it is open only to Christians, but the school seems nice and they are breaking ground this spring to build a new big school.

Thanks, what school did you decide on?

We are leaning towards St. Francis.

We are at St. Francis (my kids are 3 and 4) and we LOVE it. It is warm, incredibly friendly, loving and nurturing. The teachers are fantastic and my kids actually are learning an awful lot. They get a lot of individualized attention and all the teachers know them. The head of the school, Pat Talbert Smith, is fantastic. The families also are super nice. I think it's truly a gem. As to the physical facilities, our kids love them because it is very cheerful and scaled to small children, which is appropriate for this age group. My son went to the Norwood camp last summer and it was overwhelming because, beautiful as the facilities are, they are out of proportion for little kids. I can't say enough about St. Francis. At least go visit and judge for yourself and talk to other parents who have kids there.
