Hi, I'm about to put my old house on the market & need to "stage" it fast. (I've already moved to the new place). I buy a lot of my furniture online at sites like one kings lane, but they all have several week lead times. I need a sofa that is neutral & preferably contemporary, but am okay with a nice more traditional one. My plan is to use it to stage my living room & then move it over to my new house and put it in the basement - so I have to actually like it. For this piece, Ikea is not quite nice enough.
It seems most furniture stores have a few week lead time & there are very few sofas that can been bought off the floor. Any suggestions? I am so frustrated because I literally just missed the Mitchell Gold Floor sale. (MG retail prices are a little higher than I'd like to go with this piece, but if there were a deep discount, that would be a game changer). Please advise any suggestions. Thank you in advance. |

OP here. Thanks for all of the suggestions - all very helpful. I did not even realize there was a Crate & Barrel outlet in Alexandria - moreover, a RH outlet in Leesburg.

Costco - but you would need to get someone to help you get it home. |
Crate and Barrel outlet usually only has a couple and there is something wrong with them. |

Is it really necessary to buy a sofa just to stage your house? Value City is crappy quality and probably the cheapest option. |
We got ours at Costco - fit in our SUV and on top. |
World market - big sale right now. |
warehouse of belforts -- on route 28 in sterling. tons of leather and fabric couches ready to take home in ANY price range. |
And obviously IKEA is a good choice for this.
But I agree with the people who ask why you need to buy a sofa just to stage your home? |
