OMFG, I just figured out that they more than likely cast her with Lopez because the was Latina!!! So this whole BS about "she's not hurting anyone" is BS. She took away an opportunity from someone who is authentic. |
yes!!! genevieve sabourin. she talks about having gone on a date with alec and how hilaria called the cops on her in her youtube channel. |
Oh snap her Twitter is ablaze with Hillary stuff. I haven’t looked at it yet but uh: https://mobile.twitter.com/Genevieve_S1 |
okay her tweets are straight up nuts, but there’s a couple of youtube videos that really blew my mind. like, there has to be SOME truth to them with all the details she’s giving??? |
There's a tweet up now from a man who says he's her second cousin. No Spanish ancestry, according to him. https://mobile.twitter.com/JunipersBird/status/1344115000701562881/photo/1 |
There are several things wrong with this, but most blatantly the concept that Mallorca is one of the most expensive vacation spots in Europe. Guys, this. Is. Not. True. Basically everyone in the UK and Germany has been to Mallorca and you can get flights for the equivalent of $50 roundtrip on low cost airlines from the UK or Germany. There are dirt cheap resorts as well. Just Google "drunk tourists Mallorca" and you'll discover that UK tabloids LOVE covering the Tijuana-like atmosphere of Mallorca. I'm sure there are some expensive places on the island but let's stop pretending this is Monaco. |
She’s a stalker. |
Her father states in his blog that he has "not a drop" of "latin blood" (but loves Spain and so therefore, moved there - as a 10th generation descendant of Brito-Americans). I do a lot of genealogy - he is clearly uber-British, with some Scottish and Irish. Her mother's paternal lineage is 4 generations deep (British, mostly). Her mother's maternal lineage is German, Scottish, British as far as I can tell (for 5 generations). So...without any Spanish parents or grandparents or great grand parents - where does she get off allowing Hola magazine to proclaim (in 20 articles/notices) that she is Spanish. She has carefully phrased herself so as never to claim that she is Spanish. In fact, it is Alec who has most often said she is Spanish and it's clear she pretended to be, a decade ago, and intermittently ever since. She speaks Spanish at an intermediate conversational level, she has adopted some stereotypical "Spanish" mannerisms (similar to what the comediennes mocking her are doing). Similar to what my daughters do (their grandmother is in fact Hispanic, we have the DNA receipts; so was their grandfather and so was my grandpa). But none of us, being American born and raised, would claim or allow it to be implied that we are Spanish. In this day and age of cultural appropriation, and of jobs going to "real" members of ethnic groups (especially in show business), it's not right to pretend to be Spanish or to lie about it. Hilary and her parents are Americans. She was raised in Massachusetts in a $4M house, of New England stock on both sides, went to trendy and expensive private schools, and vacationed in rich, mostly English and German-speaking Mallorca - on occasion. Then her parents moved there. Read her words with that in mind and you'll see her grift. |
How you say...mentirosa? |
What is wrong with you!!!!!! |

This whole thing is just so bizarre. I said 200 pages ago it was like Talented Mr ripley...but she’s not even a talented scam artist.
One of the interviews asked what Spanish lullabies she sang to her babies. She listed three—one of which was Cielito Lindo, which is a Mexican song with such strong gringo credentials that it is basically the first song Mariachi bands will launch into when they see a table of norteamericanos. One of the others was Ave Maria—she noted it was her wedding entry song. But it’s a Latin song that basically anyone with an Irish-Catholic grandmother played at their wedding (remember Danny Boy? “Kneel and say an Ave there for me...”). Maybe an actuall Spaniard can weigh in, but I’m sure they have better lullabies for their babies! |
| I am pretty sure I did the same thing as Hilaria in bars during my college years, but every time we used different accents and we always told the guys were BSing them.....after we married them and had 5 babies. |

Sept. 19, 2011, Hilaria tweets to Alec:
"This is everything a Spanish yoga teacher could ever want! Gracias corazon" |

After a few days of baffled confusion and fascination, I've decided it's not that interesting- she just decided to do it to seem hotter and then had to keep up the lie. Nothing more to it than that. And she's too immature to acknowledge the error and move forward.
But I never really knew about H before and have seen truly bizarre photos. Contorting in a bridge, on her range, with her hair spilliing to a dirty skillet. Why? And one in a handstand on top of a bar. An actual bar in public where they serve drinks. Seems rude, really, and unusual behavior at best. It's like this crazy wormhole. |
