Siblings arguing

| Boys are 15 and 13. Seems most people of the time they argue and can't stand each other. Is this normal? |

| Still have trouble tolerating mine and we are in our 40s. Siblings are not a gift, they are just other people who live with you and share the same parents. |

It is normal. I have 4. The bickering is how they communicate many times. Similar ages and same gender in the same space.
The one thing that I did notice that was more important to me is that they bicker internally, but will stick up for each other with us and outside the house. It is like "I can give my sis a hard time, but you better not do it." I was the same way with my siblings. The only thing I will not allow is outright disprespect (and cursing) and, of course, it better not get physical. |
