Kilmer MS

Does anyone have their SN kids there? Looking for any feedback, the good, the bad,and the ugly. DS, HFA, is supposed to go there next year.

Heading there in two years. DD has profound ADHD and we had to switch to private because she was falling through the cracks in the public school she was in. Doing great now, is properly challenged, both academically and in terms of focus and organization. We're debating our choices for middle school.

Boundary school is Kilmer, but we might be able to place in Longfellow, because she has been really interested -- and doing well -- in the French program.

So really, how do children with SN fare at Kilmer, especially those who have thrived in the smaller environment of a local private elementary school with intense academic focus.

OP here. I should clarify that we are not in private school right now; DS has been doing really well in his public school. He does have an IEP which will continue into middle school. I want to make sure he's properly challenged.
