Norwood camp?

Anybody have experience with or heard of first hand experience with it? Looking for a rising kindergartner. Thanks

We've gone the last two years. Last year my DD was a rising K camper. We've been very happy both summers. They do lots of water play in the field and lots of other fun activities.

Is there a lot of transitions during the camp (e.g. from one activity to another)? Does the same supervisor(s) stay with a group of kids during the entire time of the camp? How's drop off/pick up situations? TIA

Another recommendation for Norwood. My daughter, now in 3rd grade, has attended for the last three summers.

It is very well run and communication is great. I love that kids and parents are able to chose the AM and PM activities. Unlike some other camps there aren't too many transitions during the day. DD didn't like Sidwell's explorer camp because she changed her activities five or six times during the day. It was just too much- she didn't want to finish the week.

Norwood has also been really flexible with DD's schedule. last year in Feb. she chose painting and in June she wanted dance. There was absolutely no problem- it was as easy as making one phone call.

DD has made good friends who she sees year after year. There is a lot to do, both indoor and out. At the end of every session (except for 5th) there is a showcase/exhibition for all camp classes.

I can't say enough about them. Three summers and never a complaint. DD was super excited to sign up for this coming summer.
