So what is on your walls and how did you pick it?

I'm terrified about putting pictures on the wall. Do I just look for things that appeal to me? Something that matches the furniture? Or what? I have no idea. Can you tell me what you have on yours and how you picked it?

I put up art in odd numbers, which are more calming than even numbers.

I just got cheap frames from places like Ikea or Marshalls and bought art I liked from places like One Kings Lane, Joss & Main, paintings by friends, small art galleries in various cities, etc. I've never spent $100 on art.

I only buy things that appeal to me.
