Opinions vary, but ERBs are just a way for schools to see how their students compare to other independent school students.
I would only consider ERB scores as providing "direction" for subject areas to focus on for potential help (for example, DD does very well in Reading section of ERB , but not Math---> does that reflect her subject grades?)
For very young students, this is their first standardized test (and since it moved online, it's their first chance to take a test on a computer)
Note: it is surprising easy to for large percentile swings for missing 4 or 5 questions...
