OK, outright murder is actually worse. But yeah, its right up there. I'd put it close to "1st degree attempted murder" Hope the victim is pursuing options for justice: 1) criminal charges 2) civil action sometimes the second has a lower bar of proof, and can get vindication even if a criminal case cannot be brought. Sometimes people don't want to do anything at all, and their pain just boils inside. but nobody should be allowed to walk away from such a crime. sends the wrong message to other pervs. |
