If not, why?
only when I go out. SOmetimes, we forget even when we go out. The ring comes off the moment we step into the kitchen.
Yes, all the time. And when I (helped) select the ring I took that into consideration - that I would be wearing it all the time.
I wear my wedding & engagement rings out & about and feel kind of naked if I forget to put them on, but usually don't wear them at home. The metal chafes my skin and makes a dry patch, and I don't like to get the little designs on it gunky when I'm doing something like kneading bread, planting in the garden, etc.
Always, except when I'm showering.
When I was pg with my first, my pretty band with diamonds didn't fit anymore. I got a bigger plain white gold band, and that's pretty much what I've worn since then.
Yes, always. I only wear my engagement ring when I'm getting dressed up (too fancy for every day use).
I take it off when I go to the gym but otherwise wear it all the time (except when I was pregnant/postpartum and swollen)
Always. I rarely take my rings off. Just like a pp this was taken into consideration when the rings were selected.
No. I don't put it on when I leave the house to run or work out. Sometimes I don't wear it when making a quick trip to the store or to do other quick errands. But it's not as though I am intentionally removing my ring when doing these things. I take all of my jewelry off as soon as I get home. I don't necessarily put my ring back on just because I'm leaving the house.
What's the purpose of your fiance/husband shelling out money for engagement and/or wedding rings, and then you not wear them?
Yes, outside the house, unless I'm exercising.
Same here, and like other PPs I selected my wedding ring (a thin platinum band) with the idea that I'd wear it basically all the time. |
I don't have a wedding ring.
Never wear my wedding or engagement rings, they aren't my style at all and I don't wear jewelry in general.
