I'm looking for a body moisturizer for after my showers, but I'm super picky. It must absorb very quickly because I don't like to spend time rubbing it into my skin. Most body cream products are too thick for my taste and take too long to absorb. I'm using coconut oil right now, and it's *almost* great -- I just don't love how my skin stays greasy for a short while afterwards. I have tried some of the dry oil sprays, and I love how quickly they absorb, but find they aren't always hydrating enough in the winter.
So, suggestions, favorite brands? |
| Egyptian magic |
| Curel Ultra Healing |
| Cerave |
| Kiehl s is great and light |
+1 |
| Olay in shower lotion. So easy and works. |
| I love Kiehl's too. But a drug store brand that's always worked for me is Lubriderm. Recommended by my dermatologist almost 30 years ago. It truly moisturizes by isnt a thick greasy cream/ointment. |
| Aveeno |
| Clinique |
no, too greasy based on what OP is looking for. I use this on my face, it is really oily so I use it at night only. |
Nivea - blue bottle |
| Neutrogena body oil. Absorbs super fast. I used to have to wait and airdry with lotion. Don't need to with this. |
| From the drugstore, St. Ives Collagen/Elastin lotion. Has a nice light melon smell and sinks in super fast. I put it on in the morning after my shower and get dressed immediately. And as a bonus, no parabens in it. |
