Weight Watchers products

Hi, I just joined Weight Watchers and like it so far. At the meetings, the leader displays many Weight Watchers food products--reading the labels, they seem highly processed and contain alot of preservatives. I was thinking of trying the oatmeal--but not sure if it is that much better than the Quaker Oats I already eat. (I tried the Weight Watchers yogurt they have at the grocery store, and maybe it was just the flavor I'd chosen, but it didn't taste that good.) Has anyone used any of the products that you could recommend or should I just stick with the things I normally like to eat?

I've been on WW for a while but only tried a few of their products. To answer your questions:
1) Oatmeal - just buy the sugar free kind at the grocery store instead of paying the ridiculous prices for their oatmeal. As far as I know (I only eat maple and brown sugar or apples and cinnamon) the sugar-free kinds are 2 points, same as the WW brand.
2) You are correct about their products being highly processed. I try to avoid them but am addicted to the 1 point peanut butter bars - they are soooo good but of course I always eat more than one at a time. It probably brings my blood sugar level up way to high...Otherwise I avoid buying the things like the Sides or the water sweeteners, you can just get those in the store but becareful of portion size.

Oh, just remembered that I also eat one of their (or the Skinny Cow brand) popsicles every night. These are delish and only 1 point. Gets rid of the sugar craving.

Good luck! WW is a good plan but WW is definitely a marketing machine and they try to sell you stuff all the time. If I had money to invest, I would definitely buy their stock.

I am not crazy about their products. The only WW products I buy are the muffins at the grocery store.

The oatmeal is horrible! It taste strongly of fake sugar.

However, I found the bars to be very helpful when I was desperate for a snack and didn't have many points left!

Thanks for the replies--I'm definitely planning to try the ice cream products and maybe the snack bars--but not until I've lost 5% of my body weight!
