Stanford students have discovered there's a Federal law which gives them access to their admission records. Some think it's a Pandora's box.

I don't see what the big deal is since only accepted students can get their records. Are they worried that they might freak out about their recommendation letters from previous teachers? Why? They got accepted so... I can understand why this would be a big deal if any applicant (including the one who did not get accepted) could get their hands on their records.
