Sick during IVF

Just wondering if anybody has been sick during IVF?

I am almost done with my BCP, am ready to start the Lupron over the weekend and tonight I felt what I believe to be two tender, swollen lymph nodes on the back of my neck. I don't feel sick at all (yet)... no fever, sore throat, runny nose, body ache etc... so maybe it'll turn out to be nothing but I'm just waiting for it all to start up anytime. I was just wondering if anybody else has been sick during the IVF process and if anybody knew if being sick would alter the outcome of my cycle in any way?

I, too, was sick starting the afternoon of transfer my first IVF. A nasty cold.
Both my REs office and acupuncturist were unconcerned. BFN...but the cold had nothing to do with the egg quality!

I was sick during my first cycle and was on antibiotics while stimming or at least the first couple days. RE and doc didn't seem to care though they made sure my medications didn't affect fertility drugs. I was better by ER and ET. Outcome bfn though it not related to my cold though.

I wouldn't worry about colds and such. A really high fever might be a concern to discuss with your RE. I hope you can fight it off!

Yes, I got sick w/ a sinus infection w/ a fever and freaked out. My RE had to keep reminding me how people not going through IVF wouldn't even remember if they had been sick right before conception or not! I'm rocking my daughter now. Good luck! It's hard not to fixate on every detail when it seems like so much is on the line.
