looking for a child psychologist

DS (age 3) has some social issues in that he hits and pushes, usually unprovoked and not out of anger. Physical aggression is his way to engage, and when we ask why he did it, he says, "because XX is my friend!" We don't really observe it but it's become a problem at his school and they have asked us for a meeting. We've had similar conversations at school over the past year or so but the behavior comes and goes so we haven't sought professional help. We did take him to an OT last April to see if there was something sensory there and they did not think there was a diagnosis. It seems like it might be time to talk to a child psych - our ped recommended going down that road as well. He's also having some potty training regression so I figure a visit to a child psych may kill two birds with one stone.

We're in Falls Church and were considering Sharon Davidow but would love to find someone that takes our UHC insurance. On the UHC website it looks like the only psychologist within 20 miles of Falls Church is Joe Rainey. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
