s/o The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven

Anonymous
Lots of Christians have read this book and pointed to it as evidence that heaven exists. The boy whose story it is has completely recanted the story. He says that he didn't die. He also says that he didn't go to heaven. He says that he made up the story to get attention.

He is a Christian and says that he wants people to know that the book is false and that "the Bible is enough."

Poor kid. Sounds like an ugly divorce, and that the dad has been exploiting him all along. I'm glad he's been able to come clean about it, because that must have been a burden to bear.

Somebody should tell him that the Bible was also written by man.

It's a real story about a family named Malarkey. "Heaven is real" is another similar story.

I've been having the same thought all morning. I feel like someone has to be trolling the public hard with this one.

I feel sorry for people who believe these things. They seem to lack meaning and worth in their life, that the cling to these kinds of "NDE" stories to give them the comfort and peace they lack at present.

The other guy, the former doctor who made up his NDE story for cash, has also been debunked.

I raised an eyebrow when I first heard his story. His 'confession' hasn't altered my faith one bit but reconfirms that there are charlatans everywhere that will use a kid for an easy buck.

There's only one Book for believers.

Sophomoric humor. Have at it.
