Art for above living room mantel?

| We have a mantel in between custom shelves and cabinets in our living room. We like coastal theme, any ideas what I can place above our fireplace mantel for pictures and put on our mantel for decoration? |

| Big piece of driftwood on the mantel, maybe a mirror with a pretty colored frame (in a beachy hue like teal or blue) on the wall? Or a painting of the seaside? Ebay has great deals on original art if you're not a serious "collector." I collect mid-20th century Danish oil paintings, the kind they used to sell at the street fairs, and I usually can pick up a large piece, frame and shipping included, for about $150. |

| I bet you could find a big (24x24) black and white photo of something like a coral or starfish or something - not as cliché as a beach landscape. |

These prints are beautiful and some are pretty large scale. We have one of the octopus prints and it is gorgeous.
