Vyvanse and lexapro

Is a 30mg vyvanse and lexapro combo safe for my 20 year old dd. I'm worried about qt prolongation. Can any one comment on this? Doctor didn't seem concerrd but she is gp, not psychiatrist

It's pretty standard for psychiatrists to prescribe a mood stabilizer, e.g., lexapro in combo with an ADHD drug to manage the symptoms. Generally you start on the antidepressant first to manage any side effects that come up b/f starting the Vyvanse.

How is your DD reacting to the meds? If you'd like more fine tuning, I would see a psychiatrist.

DD hasn't stated lexapro. She has been on vyvanse for 3 years. I realize it is a common combo, I just worry about the heart issue associated with celexa and lexapro considering vyvanse can also cause heart issues.
