Anyone sweating profusely but no fevers?

My mom is 71, tested negative for everything we could think of getting her tested for but she's been sweating A LOT. She doesn't have fevers, just sweating and especially more at night.

What's going on? Is it just old age?

Has she had her estrogen tested?

I would get her thyroid checked.

Her internist sent her to see an infectious disease doctor who ordered a bunch of tests that turned out to be all negative but I'm not exactly sure what they were looking for. I'm waiting for the internist's office open to find out if they checked her estrogen and thyroid levels.

lymphoma would show up on a CBC, I believe.

She has ulcer and has an appointment with the gastrologist on Wednesday but in the mean time her family doctor refused to give her a referral to get a ct scan.

That's because you don't begin with a scan. First you have to have an inkling of what to scan.
