Why did you all not care at all until the possibility of Trump’s involvement surfaced? Clinton has been implicated again and again, but you never read a word here about how desperately we needed to out the pedophiles. It seems like you really only care about bringing down Trump and not really about the victims. If you did, these kind of posts would have surfaced years ago.

For me, it came down to Trump’s campaign promise that he would release the Epstein files, the staged White House photo op with right wing influencers where they held up their (empty) Epstein binders from the administration because information would soon be released, then Bondi saying Epstein’s client list was on her to desk, then suddenly the story changing to no client list exists, followed by the DOJ’s pretending that they were attempting to release information when they asked for grand jury testimony to be unsealed, even though they knew it wouldn’t be and it wouldn’t include a client list, and most damning, the sudden improvement in Ghislaine Maxwell’s prison accommodations around the time she agreed to be interviewed by Todd Blanche.

I already knew Trump was a liar, so it was no surprise that he was never going to release any Epstein files, but Maxwell received a waiver allowing her to move to a lower security prison that sex offenders don’t qualify for (even though she’s been convicted of sex trafficking a minor) in exchange for letting Trump’s former personal attorney interview her (even though she’s been convicted of conspiracy and indicted for perjury). Not releasing the files after promising he would was one thing, but granting Maxwell privileges that sex offenders aren’t supposed to have was a bridge too far for me. That’s when I began to realize the significance of the information in the Epstein files.
