Plastic cover for carpet -

I need to get a (thick) plastic cover type of thing to put under an eating table in my carpeted basement. Something that will make it easy to clean routine spills. I think I will also use the same kind of cover to put under my preschooler's play/art table for the same reasons.

What do you suggest for something like this? Where can I buy it?

Babiesrus or go to a fabric store and you can get a thick sheet cut to the size you want.
