Anyone know anything about the hfa program at School Within School?

I toured it the other week and was very impressed by the woman who runs it. It's based on the Unstuck an On a Target methodology.
That said it presently only serves 8 kids (grades 1-3). Plus it's only a pilot. Thus unclear if it will continue into the future. I've been lobbying with DC central personnel for them to do so, and shall continue lobbying, as I hope my daughter gets to go there. |

| I'll further add that I believe the kids are all mainstreamed, but pulled out several times a week to work on social skills and the like, in addition to whatever else is in their IEPS. Teacher hails from Ivymount. |

| There's also a pilot program at SWW at Francis-Stevens. It goes all the way through 5th grade and then they also have a MS classroom but that one is not run by Ivymount. I visited and it looked good. |
