I've been mouth breathing at night due to pregnancy and that combined with the cold weather and central heat being on my lips are so dry! I am peeling dead skin from them every day. I've tried coconut oil and blistex.
Any recommendations? |
| Aquaphor. Thick coating at night before bed. Another in the morning before getting in the shower. |
| Put a humidifier next to your bed and slather your lips with Aquaphor. I do this and my lips are silky smooth (no, really). I also rub Aquaphor under my nose and on my nostrils. Also up your water intake. |
| Weleda. |

Nivea lip balm (looks like Chapstick sort of). They have it a RiteAid and Walgreens most of the time. Get the plain one (no SPF, no color or fragrance). Apply liberally at bed time. I was a dental hygienist for years and this is the only stuff that really works. It used to be sold under the name Labello.
Get it. Use it. Love it. |
| kiehl's and smith's rosebud salve are nice as well. |
| chapstick |
| I love the honest company lip balm and earth mama angel baby lip balm. Both have great ratings from EWG. |

Lips are my first indication. |

| Baby Kisses - you can find it in the children's of CVS. I put it on my kids lips and cheeks and it is a miracle worker. |
