| I'm looking for a good brunch spot in NW DC (easy access by car) or close-in MD (Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Silver Spring). Please post your recommendations! |
| Irish inn glen echo. |
| Search yelp for brunch spots. That's what I do when I want to try a new spot. I just bought a Living Social deal for brunch at Twist in Georgetown. |
| Republic, in Takoma Park. Le Diplomate, on 14th St. |
| Lia's in Friendship Heights - great brunch and brunch drink menu! |
| Not that I object, more curious, but other than mimosas, do people really drink alcohol at brunch? Isn't it a little early for that? |
| Hell yes! I love a good bloody mary with brunch! |

We had a fantastic tapas brunch, inclusive of several varieties of sangria/beer etc... at Boqueria in Dupont Circle recently.
Really fun, relaxed, and delicious. Not the cheapest option around, but a good value if you enjoy the tapas concept and have time to linger (and if you like trying different sangrias!) |
It's always noon somewhere as my dad likes to say.

| Daily Dish off east-west Highway is a good option if you don't want to go into DC. |
| We had a nice brunch at Chez Billy Sud in Georgetown recently. Really pretty restaurant. |
I was about to swan in and demand to know what brunch "without alcohol" would be. Yes. Vodka-grapefruit is my go-to for brunch. One if I'm well-behaved, two if I'm not, three if I'm on vacation. OP, if you have small kids, Jake's American Grill in Chevy Chase has a supervised playroom for children. |
+1 for Daily Dish. I love that place |
