| I need a word processing program for my home computer. DH tells me he thinks you can download one for free off the web. (We are short on cash right now....) Does anyone have any experience doing this, and can point me in a good direction? I'm wondering if this would even be a good idea -- if you download something for free, aren't chances good I'd be downloading something with a lot of viruses attached? |

You can use Google Docs online:
http://docs.google.com Or, try OpenOffice: http://www.openoffice.org/ |

Thanks Jeff!
Hmmm... I took a look at Google.doc terms of use. Looks like if I use their word-processing software, I'll retain copyright to all the work I use it for (resumes, etc.) but they retain the right to use my stuff however they want for advertising purposes?
