Help me create a weekly peapod order:
breakfasts: oatmeal eggs yogurt tubes milk almond milk coffee lunches: bread peanut butter sliced cheese red peppers cucumbers carrots granola bars dinners: avocado tortillas steak chicken black beans salsa rice pasta frozen broccoli (w/ leftover chicken) lamb potatoes pizza crust pizza sauce mozzarella snacks: oranges apples pretzels chips What else? Does that seem like enough? I hate thinking about food, but figure if I have a plan I'll like it more!! |
| 5 dinners. We go out once a week and once a week DH works late so I just have cereal and put together something for DS. |
| You want rice delivered every week? That's a boatload of rice. |
|
I'd add more veggies for dinner. Lettuce and salad fixings, if you like salad. Side veggies - kale or butternut squash to go with lamb and potatoes, green beans or asparagus another night.
Just cheese pizza, or do you want to include toppings? I have a set of staples on my standard list that I check every week, but don't buy every week. Keeping them on my list is my reminder to check stock levels . Rice (white and brown), pasta, butter, onions, mayo, garlic, etc.

Thanks,
Yes like 16:38 I need it all on the list then can check/uncheck as needed. More veggies makes sense. DH and I eat salads at work for lunch and whenever I buy lettuce it goes bad, but I do the same raw veggies from lunches for dinner--though I think squash is a good idea as that lasts well if not eaten right off. And I'll add butter and onions. That's the sort of thing I don't think to buy and have to make a trip for. |
