brand new leather chair...messy relative left butter stain!!!

Serves me right for buying a nice new leather chair. Despite our pleas my nephew left a butter mark on the arm and seat of the chair. Does anyone have experience with this? Will the stain dissipate? Do we rub it in? I've checked the Room and Board site and it seems to offer few real remedies.

It's been a rough morning all around (his sister vomited on our carpet and we're dealing with that stain issue as well).
