We initially got doped with a bonded leather sofa - which is now pealing apart. Where do you go to get a good top grain leather sofa? Any other things to look for when buying?
Thanks! |
Thomasville. Bought our leather sectional there 3 years ago and love it. |
NOT Pottery Barn. |
We got ours at Jennifer Convertibles. 15 years later, still looks new. |
We bought our leather furniture from Ethan Allen approx 10 years ago. The leather held up fine, no issues. The frame and cushions, another story. It was about 4 yrs in and the cusions all smashed flat and I swear the frame flexed too far to be comfortable. Called them and was told it was normal! Never again... |
Hancock & Moore. Pricey but worth it. |
We got a Natuzzi leather sofa from Bassett about 11 years ago, and it's holding up reasonably well. |
They are the best. Focus on researching sofas with good construction vs a big name. A solid built frame, 8 way handtied coils etc is what you want and it will last a lifetime. |
