Can anyone recommend an attorney to represent parents seeking to obtain an Individualized Education Plan for an emotionally disturbed child in Maryland's Montgomery County school system? Thanks for any info

I dont' know an attorney but Dr. Ruth Heitin is our advocate and she could probably refer you to someone. She might also be able to help you. She's located in Alexandria but I believe she works throughout the region. We found her through the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates which another DCUM had recommended. We couldn't be happier. We later learned that she seems to know just about everyone. Our pediatrician knew her, our developmental pediatrician knows her, everyone has said we couldn't have gotten anyone better. She's not cheap but we view this as an investment and we're already seeing a return.
