Can anyone recommend a company and/or give a ballpark price??

We just have no idea...$3k? $5k? More?

Depending on the size I'd say $5k+ minimum. Custom carpentry is pricey.

I've used Gilligan contracting before (formerly Gilligan Carpentry) with good results.

It doesn't matter what the price was for the other job. Different work = different prices. Call some places and get quotes.
