Do we tip the people at ikea that helps put stuff in car?

Going to ikea in 15 minutes and not sure if they can help put boxes inside my trunk/car. Nothing on top of the car. I cant lift the boxes myself so are they allowed to help? Can we tip them? About how much?

We never tipped anyone, but then I don't remember anyone helping us.

we don't. if a guy helps you tie things down, may be a few bucks.

Never tipped but have been very appreciative of help. I've recieved help from fellow shoppers and ikea workers. Just make sure to say thank you with a sincere smile!

For the love of all things good and right, NO! Stop tipping every damn body!

I can't ever get help from an employee loading

I've never had an Ikea worker offer to help me. There is usually some random guy hanging around that area asking if you want help so he can make a few bucks.

I think if you feel they helped you, absolutely - tip them.

I tip the guys at Giant or HT that help put groceries in the car all the time.

The guys at Harris Teeter told me they weren't allowed to accept tips. Wegmans, too.

Of course they will tell you that - its the same with an Uber driver.

If you push them, they will take it, though.
