I'm having a hard time finding compression shorts I like. I want them to be longer than 7 inches, which seems to be the standard everywhere I look. I found these http://www.zappos.com/spanx-active-shaping-compression-short-black
which get rave reviews on zappos. but Spanx?!?!? I need to be able to do some serious running in them (marathons--trying for a Boston Qualifying time). I noticed one of the other reviewers on zappos also said she was skeptical because they were Spanx, but ended up really liking them. What does DCUM think? |

Those are only 7". What about these http://www.zappos.com/pearl-izumi-w-quest-short-black-black?zlfid=191&ref=pd_sims_v_1 I don't have them but they are a bit loner and seem more like shorts that undershorts to me.
BTW I love spanx. I am wearing tight end tights now. I love the gusset b/c I hate having to pull down tights to pee.

| I've never worn the Spanx compression shorts, but I did buy one of their sports bras on a whim from zulily. I wish I bought more because it is the most comfortable and supportive sports bra I've ever had (even better than the Moving Comfort ones I used to love so much). If their other active wear is anything like their sports bras, I'd buy them. |
| I like athleta compression shorts. I live to run in the presto. I have the short ones... But wear the Bermuda length for long runs and half marathons to avoid chafing. They also have a high waist to hold in my post twin belly. Although I'm curious about those spanx now... |

i prefer compression capris, as I like the compression for my calves as well. I really like all my under armour compression pants.
If you wanted to go really high end, there is always the CW-X pants. Pricey. |
