Winter Session- Babies and Toddlers- (8 weeks)- $144 Dates: Jan 10-Feb 28 Time: 930am, 1030am Location: 5227 43rd St NW, DC Music for Babies and Toddlers From Newborns to Toddlers, music is a common experience that brings joy to all of us! Music is known to be especially valuable as babies and toddlers learn language, rhythm, patterns, steady beat, musical form, and positive social interaction. It is evident to us Moms and Dads out there, but research has supported this view time and again. Meadowlark music classes will lead you through a mix of classic favorites and original baby-tested ideas from my own musical toddler, using sound pedagogical approaches as well as fun-loving creativity! We will enjoy instruments, singing, parachute games, sign language, dancing and movement, puppets, and creative props. This is also an excellent "friend-making" environment designed to create connections between the attending Mommies, Daddies, caregivers and babies as well. *flexible make-up policy* *ages are approximate, ask if you have questions about your own baby/toddler and scheduling* *siblings 3 months and younger are free* |
