Jeff, you locked a thread because one anti-NCS poster had taken it over. Now this thread comes along, and she is clearly back attacking NCS, even though the situation seems to be far more negative toward STA. But there is one post that basically alleges numerous gang rapes by STA boys. Any way to see if that is someone who regularly posts? And how would that get reported to the school, if at all?
Thanks. http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/195/435529.page |
That thread has multiple posters attacking both schools. The poster from the previous thread may be among them, but is not dominating the thread like before. The post to which you refer is pretty incoherent. But, to the extent that I can understand it, any gang rapes were in 1987 and earlier. I'm not sure that the current administrations of the schools would have any interest in events that far in the past.

Jeff,
I am disappointed and do not understand why this thread has been locked. For many of us who are considering the cathedral schools for our kids, this has been an eye-opening glimpse that may be important to our decision-making. If there is more that people want to say, particularly as scho opens and administrators may be available yo act, li would want to know how the schools address this very serious issue. I appreciate what you do very muc but in this case don't understand why you would lock the thread. This essentially shits down girls and placenta who have apparently already been shut down by school administrators. These are very serious issues. If parents and students can't post here, where can they post? |
Well that was a post with errors and one very odd auto correct! But I think you get my viewpoint and I hope you will consider it. I care a lot more about whether my daughter and so. May be joining a mysoginist culture than what lev math they are in ir whether they go to a top tier college, so I'm very disappointed you chose to shut down communication on this issue. Again, thanks for all you do. I'm sure it's tough with our many viewpoints. |
The thread had devolved to a discussion of the "queen bees" by graduation class. I really believe that if 20 pages of gossipy discussion doesn't give you an idea of what you are in for, 20 pages more probably won't either.
