Anyone here familiar with "Sheex" bedsheet material?

Been thinking about purchasing a set of sheets in this material for a while, but I haven't yet because it seems like reviews are 50/50. People either love it or say it catches on every last body hair, hangnail, rough skin, etc. Do any of you have Sheex bedding? If so, how satisfied are you?

Nobody's familiar with this product?

I have these and really like them. I don't feel like they catch on anything. I like that they're stretchy and fit well on my mattress which is very deep.

That's good to know. What do you wear with them? I'm wondering if certain nightclothes materials might stick due to friction.

Also, do they have that rubbery smell athletic wear tends to have even after washing? That was another thing I read in some reviews.

I don't think I'd want to sleep on the same fabric that athletic shirts are made of- polyester. Also, a lot of people I know have had trouble with the athletic shirts having a bad smell after a while that they just can't wash out. Would this also happen with these sheets?

Not a fan. No strange smells or sticking due to friction. But we can't use the top sheet because we get tangled up in it. It's annoying beyond belief.

Basically, when one of us rolls over, the top sheet stretches or shifts in a way that regular sheets just don't. I can't explain it exactly, but we were waking up multiple times a night completely tangled up and uncomfortable.

So we use the bottom sheet and the pillow cases with a random top sheet from another set. Overall we prefer our high thread count sateen sheets much more.

OP here. If you dont' mind me asking, what type of clothes were do you wear that would make the top sheet do that, or is it simply because of movement? This is why I'm a bit hesitant.

I'm the PP from 20:23. I usually wear a T-shirt and pajama pants to bed. My husband wears boxers and a t shirt, and neither of us has "caught" on the sheets.

I actually slept on regular sheets at a hotel a few months ago and I felt like I was much more constricted in them than with the sheex.

Never noticed any kind of weird smell at all.

Now that I think of it, the top sheet is more likely to ball up when I compare it to normal types of sheets, but it never really bothered me.

OP. That's good to know. I don't wear anything to bed, so the balling up of the top sheet may be even less of an issue when there's no additional clothing fabric to contend with. I read some reviews that said they had problems with tiny irritating catches on dry skin, nails, leg hair, pubic hair, etc. I guess it's like anything - some people will be satisfied and some people won't. I'll probably try them out this spring.

I also saw these recently on a show and I'm kind of intrigued by them. I may have to try them out in the spring. The cost is the main thing holding me back.

Was at Bed Bath & Beyond today (Tysons location) and there are a number of Sheex sets in the clearance section - $69 marked down from about $229!

What is the advantage of these sheets?
What do they say is good about them?
