Dog Spa/Grooming Services

Anonymous
My dog's 10th birthday is coming up and DH and I want to treat her to one of those fancy pet spas. Any recommendations in the DC area? We're extremely frugal people so I've always done all of her grooming myself, but some of these spa services (tea tree oil foot soaks? massaging the paw pads?) look both great and a little ridiculous.

For those of you who have treated your dogs to these services, do you see a noticeable difference? And more importantly, do your dogs seem noticeably happier/more relaxed after a service?

Here is somebody! We have not gotten things like tea tree oil but for a fun day check this out. This very good vet has a nice grooming shop as well as cute "rooms" with little tykes furniture. http://www.senecahillvet.com/
