Holiday gifts to before and after care staff?

Do you all give out gifts to before/after school staff? Looking for ideas. What do you all do? Do you give more to the director who does most of the work?

I always give the Director the same thing that I give DC teacher---$25 Target gift card. Each of the after school ladies get a $10 Starbucks card.

My bff does aftercare and got about $200 in cash/giftcards and she works at a Montessori school. It really helped her out, she was able to use it to buy christmas presents for her family. They don't make a lot at all so it helps.

At our public school there's a committee that oversees the daycare program, and they collected funds to pool for gift cards. So we contributed to that. Separately I wrote notes to the aftercare staff, because they've been wonderful with DC.

We do a food basket and give it to them the Monday before break so they have all week to eat it

Our school does a similar, contribute cash and then it is distributed . I personally put more money in this fund than the one for teachers as these are much lower paid workers.
