I'm not a huge fan of ice cream cakes but maybe I have just never had a good one. Where are the good ones?
Baskin-Robbins. You can order them without cake and get two or three flavors of ice cream.
One of the tropical ice cream stores in MD. Either York Castle in Rockville or the one on Gerogia Ave. just inside the beltway in Silver Spring. All kinds of exotic flavors and really good ice cream. If you are not as adventurous, they have the traditional favorites as well.
I like Carvel.
Cold Stone
Thomas Sweet in Georgetown. Best, hands down!!
Dairy godmother in Del Ray has frozen custard cakes
Coldstone creamery.
Cold Stone Creamery.
Dairy Queen has surprisingly good cakes. Giant has decent ones, too.
Brusters in Pittsburgh!
I was thinking of posting the "why buy when you can make them so easily" response, but I see someone has posted an even more useless response.
|
Carvel crunchy cake is the best. I detest Stone Cold Creamery, and don't like Baskin Robbins.
Yup. Get one every year for my DH. You can pick whatever 2 flavors you want, |
Baskin and Robbins with the crunch
