Not sure which forum this question is right for, but...has anyone tried her method with small kids in the house? It doesn't seem very compatible. I'm reading her book now thinking "this would have worked great in my 20s when I had huge blocks of time and energy to devote to projects, but how the heck can I find time for this with a toddler?" |
With a toddler, I'd just make a set time of day when you clean up toys and sing the "Clean Up!" song.
When kids are this young, it's up to the parents to take the lead on decluttering. As they get older they will be able to make decisions about what to keep/give away and shed what they don't need. |
