Can I freeze a baked apple pie?

Anonymous
I purchased it yesterday. The clerk at the restaurant suggested I just refrigerate it until the day it will be consumed (Christmas Day). That is a whole week away from the day it was baked, though. She said it might dry out if I freeze it.

What say ye, DCUM?

I've done it. A week won't be long enough for it to dry out. You can seal well Ina large ziploc if you're worried.

Mrs. Smith's does it all the time. I'd use lots of Saran wrap, then foil, then ziplock.
