NOAA Bright Horizons in Silver Spring

Does anyone have a child (toddler) enrolled at this center? Would you be willing to talk to be offline. Please let me know and I will post my personal email address.

Thanks,

We have a child in this center that was previously in the toddler classroom, will that work?

Yes, if you were there 2005 or after.

Hi- our child was at BH in Silver Spring up until this year. The head teacher in the toddler room is wonderful- very caring, a great teacher! The kids enter the Dolphin Room as babies and when they transition out are definitely ready for the "toddler world"-- they teach them to wash their own hands, eat in a family setting, share, treat each other with respect, etc. If they're ready, they also help with potty training in a very loving, child-directed way. How is the wait list? When we left, the waitlist was very long because a lot of siblings have started at the center recently.

Good luck!

I don't post this to freak anyone out but just as a warning. The building that houses NOAA sits directly on top of a public Montgomery County Public Parking garage. There is a "guard" at the entrance but he has to let everyone in. It is a public garage. Any nut job who decided to target a government building would find this one extremely easy to damage.

Just FYI
