What's your favorite song lyric of all time

To rock (a rhyme), that's right (on time)
It's Tricky is the title, here we go...

It's Tricky to rock a rhyme, to rock a rhyme that's right on time
It's Tricky... it's Tricky Tricky Tricky Tricky

This whole song is perfect, gets me every time. I feel sad that younger generations won't get the whole experience that makes this song so poignant -- having to find a pay phone, having to find change, calling an operator to get a number for someone who may or may not want to talk to you.

And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
Move along

And as the flashbulbs burst, she holds a smile like someone would hold a crying child.

And I have learned that even landlocked lovers yearn for the sea like navy men.

Should add: “The glove compartment isn’t accurately named and everybody knows it” from “Title and Registration”.

And I gotta keep it real now
'Cause on a one to ten, she's a certified twenty
But that just ain't me, hey
'Cause I don't know, if I take that chance
Just where's it gonna lead
But what I do know is the way she dance
Makes shorty alright with me
The way she get low
I'm like "Yeah", just work that out for me
She asks for one more dance, and I'm like "Yeah"
How the hell am I supposed to leave?
And I say
Yeah! Yeah!

Peter Sarsted

Where do you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
Tell me the thoughts that surround you
I want to look inside your head

You talk like Marlene Dietrich
And you dance like Zizi Jeanmaire
Your clothes are all made by Balmain
And there`s diamonds and pearls in your hair
You live in a fancy appartement
Of the Boulevard of St. Michel
Where you keep your Rolling Stones records
And a friend of Sacha Distel

— But where do you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
Tell me the thoughts that surround you
I want to look inside your head

I've seen all your qualifications
You got from the Sorbonne
And the painting you stole from Picasso
Your loveliness goes on and on, yes it does
When you go on your summer vacation
You go to Juan-les-Pines
With your carefully designed topless swimsuit
You get an even suntan, on your back and on your legs
When the snow falls you're found in St. Moritz
With the others of the jet-set
And you sip your Napoleon Brandy
But you never get your lips wet

— But where do you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
Tell me the thoughts that surround you
I want to look inside your head, yes I do

Your name is heard in high places
You know the Aga Khan
He sent you a racehorse for chistmas
And you keep it just for fun, for a laugh haha
They say that when you get married
It'll be to a millionaire
But they don't realize where you came from
And I wonder if they really care, they give a damn

- — But where do you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
Tell me the thoughts that surround you
I want to look inside your head, yes I do

Good feeling, won’t you stay with me
just a little longer
I always feel like you’re leaving when
I need you here just a little longer

You can drive all night
Lookin' for the answers in the pourin' rain
You wanna find peace of mind
Lookin' for the answer

Breathe me in
Breathe me out
I don't know if I could ever go without
I'm just thinking out loud
I don't know if I could ever go without
