OP, what did you expect? You obviously didn't bother to pick up the phone and call the school or talk with the teacher or the principal. You did do a Google search about Two Rivers PCS to read about the amazing work that is happening there and how they are one of the top performing schools in the city. You could have learned on your own that is a very diverse school where there are children who have nannies and there are children who live in subsidized housing.
Next time, please require more of yourself. How you thought you could just post anonymously on a forum like to find some "insights" is baffling. |

There's no way you could have known because you are too stupid to live. What type of real and substantive discussion did you want? The only thing to discuss is whether what happened was true or not, and that is best found out by asking people who actually attend Jamestown or Two Rivers, not an anonymous internet forum. But then again, that's something you should have already known. |

Oh, save your sanctimonious scolding for the other thread. Those kids were still truly badly behaved today. One reason I didn't pick up the phone was wondering what reaction would be given the racial dynamics. The thread I wish to be deleted proves I was right to test the discussion here first. In the future, do not tell someone to "require more of yourself." It's inappropriately condescending. |

?? How did you determine that it is not worth raising based on the discussion here? I don't understand anything you write, OP. If kids are badly behaved, it's worth raising with the administration. The problem here is that you are racist, and trying to pretend that you are not. If Sidwell Friends visited your school and acted this way, would you have posted here wondering whether you should say something to the administration? |
