What companies have you purchased from for gifts of food? Either a one time gift or a delivery-a-month type thing.
Thank you! |

Williams Sonoma (croissants) Zingermans D'artagnan |
All of the above are great! Add Stonewall Kitchen and Dean and Deluca. If the recipient is into smoked meats, try Nueske's, Burger's Smokehouse, or Virginia Traditions (Edwards). Junior's Cheesecake is also a good one. |
| Zingerman's and Stonewall are great. If you'd like something local, Uncle Chip's. |
| I will say do not get Wolferman's. My parents sent it this year and the quality is terrible. Everything was dried out and packed full of chemicals. I've never seen so many ingredients for plain English muffins. They sent some tea cakes and cinnamon rolls too, and they were just total junk. My mom sent me their stuff years ago (like 15 years ago) and it was great, but it's not the same company anymore. |

Eli's Cheesecake is wonderful. I send them as gifts often.
Carol's Cookies were well received but I didn't try them myself. |
| Edible Arrangements is my #1. Expensive, delicious and impressive. |
| It is overpriced, but we have really enjoyed Omaha Steaks. Again - I know it's overpriced, but a lot of these delivery type gifts are. |
| Savannah's Candies and Cheryl's Cookies. |
I've received three Edible Arrangements and two of the three times had horrible experiences being on the receiving end. The arrangement itself is nice, but they don't deliver unless you're home to receive it and aren't open evenings for pick-ups. I've twice had to take off work to go pick up an arrangement (out in the suburbs) because they were only open working hours and wouldn't change delivery to my office. |
