Teavana

I feel so betrayed. I was just told why their sample teas taste so good. They add sugar to them. I had no idea. I thought they were damn good tea and was confused as to why the tea I bought from them and made at home didn't taste as good. I was about to buy some fancier tea maker.

I think they should note that they add sugar for fair marketing practices and because some of us have to stay away from sugar.

Are. you. serious. That was so hard to figure out?

Oh, and Teavana teas smell so good because of flavoring additives, which are actually listed on the package.
I hate this company.

+1 have you ever had tea before? Or made tea?

I don't even like Teavana tea. Their additives give me a headache.

I recommend this tea shipped from India. I bought it while I was in India, and after I got back, I found their website. Very high quality tea for a reasonable price. The darjeeling is my favorite.

We bought some tea for a Christmas present one year. They had some pretty canisters that they would fill. We picked a pretty canister and a fruity tea, and the total was $75 or something. We were floored. Apparently the tin was $25 and the 5 oz. of tea was $50. Yikes. For tea!

Yes, yes, I have. If your reading comprehension was better, you would have noticed that in the original post.

And to the two jerk pps, you both seem to be not bright enough to catch the humor through exaggeration of my original post. Sheesh.

Whew. So that was sarcasm.
Forgive me, but after a post asking for a BLT recipe, and many others just as dumb, my expectations for DCUMers were quite low.

I was finally clued in when my DS wanted to always stop and have their tea. Finally I tasted and now know why. But I knew it was loaded with sugar after one sip.
